Part One

This was one of the most exquisitely decorated and lit wedding venues I have ever photographed – thanks to the amazing eye of Lauren and her wedding planners at Cranberry Blue. The location was the Great Conservatory at Syon Park, which is the ultimate in elegance because of the previous genius of its designer, Charles Fowler. It’s not as easy as it sounds to come up with a scheme that adds romance and theatricality to that classy, classical architecture and yet these guys pulled it off, with fire performers to complete it all!

Lauren and Tim are an amazing dynamic couple and early on we hatched a plan to not only capture their wedding but also to add a post-wedding shoot. As Lauren’s family is from Zimbabwe, the original idea was to fly out there but instead we went, a few days after the ceremony, to Iceland. So I’m going to keep this short, as Lauren herself will be blogging about the next stage in our adventures shortly.
