I first met Claire and JJ at the wedding of Steph and Sivan in Place des Conde, France, so for me this was one of those great occasions when I know half the guests already and I’m treated as one of the ‘family.’ To add icing to my wedding cake, the Cumbian location provided classic English countryside, and Claire and JJ even seemed to have picked the one really fine day we’ve had this summer.

JJ’s parents own an award-winning, luxury B&B called Broomlands and the reception was held in a marquee in the gorgeous gardens, with a chair lift as a photo booth for crazy-fun photos and a vodka luge causing mayhem! And when I wanted a vantage point location for some dramatic couple shots, JJ drove us at breakneck speeds to a spot he’s known from childhood: wildly romantic doesn’t begin to cover it!

More adventures soon,
Alex 😀
