This wedding is about a dream come true. The groom, Rowly, had always wanted to get married at the Tower of London and so he made it happen. I came from the address where I’d been photographing Carly and the bridesmaids in a taxi along with Carly’s dad. It was something very special to travel through the historic gate and into the ancient fortress and then to take in the solemn beauty of the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula. The emotions were rising, I can tell you.
Afterwards, the reception was held at 1, Lombard Street, with the speeches given at the very start, when everyone was standing around together rather than seated formally at tables. That set the tone for a massively fun, dynamic evening.
More adventures soon,
