So what do you get a photographer as a birthday present? Well Holly chose to get me a photoshoot, costumes were from a massive selection laid on by Country Drama Wardrobe location was of my choice and the models were all sorted. Couldn’t ask for a better present.
Since this was a present the shoot was a touch more free form than normal with us all having loads of fun and basically just shooting anything that sprung to mind. I chose the derelict house from a previous post as the location. Really was awesome fun, thanks to everybody for coming along and special thanks to Holly for organising it. That girl truly can make anything happen!
First off, here’s one of the aforementioned girl in a gorgeous 1920′s dress…

More photos after the jump…
So wednesday gave me the chance to photograph a great local musician, Colin Hazel. We grabbed some lights and a grand piano (as you do…) and headed to the Centre at St Paul’s for a quick photoshoot. Was really nice to not have to pick the music for once with Colin banging out some fab Jazz tracks on the grand piano. If you’ve not seen this guy play I implore you to head along to the Snug or the Man on the Moon next time he’s playing!

So Friday saw me shooting the lovely MC and Art. Both were over from the US after winning the fittest24, fittest body of 2008 competition.
The Prize? Well that was an all expenses payed trip to London and a photoshoot with three pro photographers, including, yours truly. The majority of the shoot was dedicated to the fitness theme but here’s a few of the more traditional ones:

So, Holly and I were scheduled for an engagement session this weekend with a wonderful couple getting married in June. Unfortunately however flu stuck and we’ve had to reschedule. So what do you do on a free Saturday in Cambridge? Well Holly and I decided to round up some of our friends for a little film/photo collaboration, Holly shooting the film and myself the stills.

Thanks to Gill, Caroline, Carl and Ben for helping out!
Videos hopefully to follow.
