An autumn wander

So I got a bit of time over the weekend to go out for a wander and capture some of the fab Autumn colours I’ve seen around on digital film. I have to confess with all the professional photography I do these days it’s rare for me to get the chance to go out and just take photos for myself without any pressure. I think it must be something akin to how anglers feel… Anyway, great fun, really relaxing and great to see Cambridge in such colour.

A good friend of mine and very good photographer on his own right, Hugo joined me. Not quite sure what on earth he’s taking photos of here but, well I thought it looked cool!

A little bit of Snow

So, while drinking cocktails and watching the famous Colin Hazel play at the Snug last night it began to snow. and snow. and snow. For those of you reading this outside the UK (yes don’t try and hide I know you’re there ) we do often get some snow but this was about the first time in three years that we’ve had a decent covering. Not being one to miss an opportunity I quickly ran out of the door, camera in hand to get a few shots (in between getting hit by snowballs). Stay tuned for more, hopefully the snow will hang around for a while and I’ll get the chance to go out for a more organised explore!
