A very white wedding. So far this year I’ve had lots of rain, and a little bit of sunshine at my weddings. I guess that left one weather condition out which was determined to make an appearance. Yep on Saturday for Rob and Catherine’s wedding it decided to snow. As I’m sure you’re all aware the whole week has been filled with snow, however we woke up in the morning to sun and blue skys. Kinda fortunate really since I was starting to get worried about the hour and a half drive I was going to have to make in the morning to make it for the wedding.

Well yes anyway, the weather was superb for the majority of the day, if a touch cold. Rob and Catherine got married at St Thomas More church in Leicester just a few minutes drive from Catherine’s parents’ house. It was a really beautiful ceremony for a really lovely couple (well as loverly as lawyers can get )

I’m still sorting my way through the photos so you can rest assured there are a lot more to come but I just had to put this one up. Just as I was wrapping up for the evening we got the snow we had all

been hoping for. With a bit of lighting magic to turn on the outside light (yes it had no light bulb in it so I had to do it myself…) we managed to grab this. Enjoy!

Mad props have to go out to Catherine here for braving the snow or more precisely the ice. I didn’t like to ask at the time but I’m guessing it’s definitely not easy to walk on sheet ice in a wedding dress and high heels…
