Wedding: Woldingham, Surrey – Susannah and Tom

So normally when I go to a wedding I can be pretty darn sure I’ll have the most photography equipment out of everybody there. You can imagine my surprise then when getting close to the wedding venue I passed rows of paparazzi all with huge telephoto lenses at the ready. Fortunately for me it turns out they were actually camped outside Katie Price’s house, a stone’s throw from Susannah’s parents house in Woldingham!

I have to say it’s one of the most picturesque places I’ve had the pleasure to photograph. While Cambridge is undeniably beautiful, the rolling hills of Surrey certainly give it a run for it’s money! For once this year we even had the weather to match it. Stunning wedding, I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the fireworks at the end (yes I’m a pyromaniac at heart…). Thanks for having me along guys and have a great honeymoon!

The Ceremony was held at St Paul’s in Woldingham. A comparatively modern church but never-the-less exceedingly pretty.

Unfortunately the Vicar was exceedingly strict with photography due to some bad experiences with previous photographers getting too close. I think most of my previous couples will attest to the fact that I’m actually pretty darn stealthy during a ceremony but alas he was not to be convinced. Real shame since it meant missing all the tears rolling down Tom’s face as the stunning Susannah walked down the aisle. Never deterred I did manage to snag this from the back though…AlexBeckett_5013._DSC2058_SusannahTom

Then it was time for the walk home. Really nice to take a stroll home from the church. I know Emily and Nick had planned the same on their day but were thwarted by the weather, no such bad luck this time though!

Followed by Cake…

Speeches, Dancing…

And ending with a bit of fun on my part. I supplied the smoke, Tom the fireworks.

Thank you both so much for inviting me guys. I had a whale of a time. More to come.
