Peak District: Rob and Rebecca
So, “Get to the Peak District.” That was the first instruction given to me by fellow photographer Mr Chris Beaumont on Saturday. Following that came; “Get to Heathersage, then drive out of Heathersage, turn left at the Flying Dog pub, go over the hill, far away, over a cattle grid, cross the palm of the helpful sheep then look for the short haired guy standing on a rock.” Useful.
Anyway Chris and I then hooked up with Sue Mossey for our first photographers’ shoot out. The idea was simple: Chris had a couple of friends who got married a year ago and were looking for some awesome post-wedding photos. Since Chris and I are always bantering about who’s the better photographer we decided to make a trip out of it (well and I love being chastised by a chubby man after 3 hours in the car for driving a Citroen…)
This being England I was planning for rain but it actually ended up being one of the hottest days of the year. Did manage to find some shade though under Burbage Bridge.

Becky also brough her fab wedding dress along with her. Really awesome to be able to bring out the dress and show it off up on the mountainside!

More photos after the jump…

Becca had also just got an awesome new tat. In between shielding it from the blazing sun we did manage to get a few cool photos…

And finally, I think I might be developing a bit of a leg/foot fetish, couldn’t resist though!

Thank you so much Alex we had an awesome weekend and to have such wonderful pictures to remind us of it is fab. Thanks again from Becca and Rob
Those shots under the bridge are incredible! Is that mist for real or an effect you added later? Either way, it’s great.
Hi Dave,
The mist is real however I created it myself. Saw the tunnel and thought it would look cool so added a couple of smoke pellets. To create the effect I then blasted flash through the smoke.
